This weekend I raced the second round of the Czech 4X Cup and the Czech National Championships as well. After 8 weeks I race home in Czech again! The track in Kosmonosy was rebuilt, the weather was extremely hot and it made the racing quite tough.
On Saturdays Czech Cup I started with interview for a local TV, that was covering the weekend. I qualified 3rd out of 17 elite riders. I won my first round and after fighting in first turn I got third in my semi. I went to the small final, I won it start-finish so 5th place overall. Complete results here.
On Sundays Czech championships I qualified 4th out of 31 men. I won my first two rounds and was in top 8. I didnt hit the gate on time in my semi and fell down after I got squeezed by the other riders. Small final again which I won start-finish again. After the race in Austria it was third 5th place in a row :-). Complete results Czech Championships in 4X 2010.
Aside the good results, I have another good message from the weekend. After my achilles injury, my leg seems to be strong again and my gates have improved a lot.
