Second round of UCI World Cup in 4X is behind me. I knew that it usually rain in Maribor, but this was someting. The track was redone and the fresh dirt didnt really get together with this slovenian rain season. Some jumps changed their shapes, some got ridden throu, huuge ruts everywhere, too much mud and water.
On Fridays qualication I got out of second turn and slowed down a lot. I took hard pedals and it was enough for 33th place. On Saturdays race I didnt really managed first round. I was in the very first one with Graves, polish and uk rider. I was kinda late in the start area and didnt get ready enough. I got third from the gate, trying to get the second rider but getting a bodycheck from fourth rider. I get back my speed and I am third on the line half bike behind second.. shiit. Overall 37th place and in WC standings drop to 20th place.
