Right after picking up the new the new Duratec 4X frame last Wednesday, I took off to Italy for the fifth World Cup. The frame rode great and it is a big step forward from the last version.
In its premiere, I managed to get my best WC qualification so far, a 10th place from nearly 100 riders. In the race I didnt really have a good luck for the riders and in my 1/4f I got Graves, Wichman and Riha. I could not avoid a crash in that run and I got 13th overall . In the WC ranking a jump forward to 25th place and to 22th place in UCI rankings.
After the race I spend a one-day holiday at the lake Riva del Garde and a good news from the weekend is, that I probably managed to qualify for this years World Championships in Canada..
