I have the best riding in my life behind me. I came home from Canada from Mountain Bike festival Crankworx. I arrived to Vancouver straight from World Cup in Mont Sainte Anne about two weeks earlier. I stayed by czech friend in Squamish Valley in the mountains. I tasted first mountain bike trail out of thousands there...
After 14 days I connected with czech buddies Tomas Slavik and Michal Marosi at Whistler. Crankworx is 10 days full of races in dual slalom, downhill, pumptrack and side events like whip or scrub contest.. every day but Monday was a race. Everyday awesome bike park from the top of the mountain was opened if you werent racing that day..
I raced dual slalom, pumptrack and giant cross. I met the guys from Canadian Commencal and on the other day I had the opportunity to ride the new Commencal downhill bike V3 for the next 2012 season. What an awesome bike. One day, we rode to Pemberton, which is a village further in the mountains. We went together with czech guy Peter, whos been living there for 10 years now.. He had a 4x4 truck so we could shuttle up and down. Four one-hour downhill freeride descents and I was out of words. What an amazing experience.
The last day we had a photoshoot with slovakian photographer Justa Jeskova and with another czech guy Petr Drobny. I send a big cheers and thanks to all of them this way! More the pictures and in my own GoPro video. Enjoy!!!
