First races after a long injury went great. Pragues 4X track Polis 13 had a first Czech Cup and a first Euro 4X round of the new tournament called Euro 4X Series. The Euro Series is a great idea, when the most of the 4X world top rides come from Europe. It was a great competion for whole weekend.
On Saturdays Czech Cup I qualified 14th. I won the first run after Premek Tejchman crashed. In the next round I finish second and went to the top 8 together with Johanes Fischbach, which I managed to pass in the next round on the pro section and went to the main final with a czech legend Michal Marosi throu Fischbach and Wichman. Unfortunately I didnt ride a perfect run in the main, crashed in the 2nd turn and took 4th for the day. Great result after such a long time thou! It was also pretty cool, that despite the attandance of the european top riders, we managed to eliminate them all and race a nice czech final:-).
On Sundays Euro Series I improved my quali to 11th, which still wasnt quite fast enough. I won the first two round, I got second in the next one and went to the top 8 again. In the semi I was passing Johanes Fischbach on the pro section again, after he lost some speed battling with Wichman. But this time he jumped a transfer and cut my way in the air. I could do anything but to land and crash hard into the next jump. I tried to get myself and my bike together for the small final. On a non shifting bike I managed to pass two riders, get 2nd behind Wichman and 6th overall :-]. Video from Sunday
