Last weekend I took a trip to Winterberg for Europe biggest freeride festival called IXS Dirtmasters Bikefestival. With over 30.000 spectators, over 1000 riders and many expo tents it was a much bigger event than I expected.
I took part in the 4-cross race and it was a better weekend for me again. There was about 90 riders including Jared Graves and many of the top World Cup riders. I was too carefull and slow in my qualy and got 22. I got second in my 1/16f, first in my 1/8f and then a solid run in my 1/4f where I got third. 10th place overall. This, with my other current results, was enough for me to secure a spot on a Czech national A-team for the Euro Championships. With Czech republic being the best in the world according to the UCI Nation 4X rankings, it is a nice success. See a complete qualification ranking.
