Another great 4X races EFS Festina Night Race in Poland and the first round of UCI World Cup in Belgium went quite well for me again.
In Poland I started with my new carbon-fiber chain guide from czech Shaman Racing. It works great. Funny I broke my chain in the qualification and had to do some pumping. I qualified 51st out of 63. So I had to race from the outside. I won my first round, got second in the next one and in 1/4f I fell from the third spot trying to be faster and pass some riders. Overall 15th spot for me.
In Belgium it was a huuge night race with 123 participants and loads of spectators. I qualified 17th. I won my first round, got second behind Graves in the next one and then fell again in my 1/4f from the third spot. I need to change that style :-). 13th overall at my 2nd World Cup in career not bad at all. Here are the complete, official results. Freecaster made a video of the finals. Also, nice report from the Dirt Magazine and enjoy the pics too!
